embrace Imperfection.

black & white film photography

The first time I developed a roll of film, something clicked— not just in the process, but in the way I saw photography altogether.

Grainy Rolls is a space where I experiment with film photography in a raw and approachable way — a personal playground to test ideas, explore different films and cameras, and stay open to the unexpected. What started as curiosity has turned into an ongoing process where every roll is a chance to learn, and nothing is ever fully predictable.

Each image is a mix of intention and surprise, shaped by light, timing, and the occasional imperfection. It’s less about getting it “right” and more about staying connected to the process, trying new approaches, and seeing what unfolds. A place to slow down, stay curious, and appreciate the beauty in what you didn’t plan.

A selection of work exploring the textures, moods, and unpredictability of film photography. Each frame captures a moment, a place, or a feeling — shaped by light, timing, and experimentation.
